The Rose in the Mirror is a book of poems written from within a living devotional relationship - a love that is intimate, embodied, and woven through the ordinary textures of daily life.

The poems move between reverence and desire, stillness and wildness, solitude and union.

They are rooted in the body and in the natural world: breath, skin, flowers, earth, longing, tenderness, flame. They speak to the experience of recognising the sacred not as something distant or abstract, but as something that lives within, moves through, and meets us here.

Some poems are shared in full on this site. Others are held back, to be encountered within the bound container of the book itself.
