a wilderness

to find You.

Loved me open,

like a rose undone,

by the radiant sun -

and revealed me.

How could I have known

the lonely road,

was the journey home?

That the wilderness

was my forgetting?

That the love

I yearned for

was not earth-bound

but Divine?
